5 things we learned from PARI UNIVERSE 2026

Team Spirit swept Team Yandex 3-0 to win PARI UNIVERSE. From all 84 games: Dark Willow in 47 of them, popular heroes that lost, first blood that barely mattered, m1CKe's numbers, and Spirit's 20-5.

Team Spirit swept Team Yandex 3-0 in the grand final on November 1 and won PARI UNIVERSE. Ten teams played 84 games.

Dark Willow was the hero of the event

Dark Willow was picked in 47 of those 84 games, more than any other hero, and went 26-21. She was never picked by both teams in the same game. 91 different heroes were picked, and 16 of them were picked only once.

Popular did not mean good

Windranger was the fifth most-picked hero, with 34 picks, and went 13-21. Hoodwink was picked 39 times and went 16-23. Among heroes picked at least 15 times, the best records were Sand King at 12-4 and Witch Doctor at 24-13, much of that from Spirit: Larl went 9-1 on Sand King and rue went 10-1 on Witch Doctor. On 10 or more picks, the worst were Ember Spirit at 3-7 and Lifestealer at 4-9.

First blood barely mattered

The team that got first blood won 46 of 82 games, 56%. The team ahead on gold at 20 minutes won 64 of 83, 77%. Radiant won 42 and Dire won 42. Games averaged 44 minutes, median 41.3 minutes, with 23 going 50 minutes or longer (14 of them 60 minutes or longer) and 8 ending in under 30.

m1CKe had the best numbers outside the final

m1CKe was not in that final, and among players with 10 or more games he had the best KDA: 8.89 over 15 games (158/36/162), with Batyuk next at 7.78. He also dealt the most hero damage per game, 38,277, ahead of Topson at 35,947. Satanic of PARIVISION led the farm at 808 GPM over 18 games. Team Liquid were in all three comebacks of 10k gold or more: they erased an 11.4k deficit against 1win and a 21.9k deficit against Spirit, and they lost a 15.5k lead to OG.

Spirit earned it

Team Spirit went 9-1 in series and 20-5 in games. The only series they lost was 1-2 to OG on October 28. Yatoro had the most kills of the event, 279 in 25 games, including a 30/4 Outworld Devourer game in Game 2 of the grand final.
